Who we are
This website is operated by Goodman Bureau, a trading name of Goodman Endeavors, a sole proprietorship (ZZP) registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KVK) under number 42069007, based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. If you have questions about this policy or your data, contact duncan@goodmanbureau.com.
What information we collect
When you use the contact form on this site, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, company name (if given), and the content of your message. We do not collect any other personal data through this site, and we do not use tracking cookies or analytics that identify individual visitors.
Why we collect it
We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry and, if it leads to a conversation about our services, to communicate with you about a potential engagement. We do not use it for marketing emails you haven't asked for, and we do not sell, rent, or share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Legal basis
We process this data on the basis of your consent (by submitting the form) and, where a business relationship develops, our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry.
How your data is handled
Messages submitted through this site's contact form are processed by Netlify, our website hosting provider, acting as a data processor on our behalf, in order to deliver your message to us.
We keep enquiry messages only as long as needed to respond to you and, if relevant, to maintain a record of an ongoing business relationship, typically no longer than 12 months if no further contact occurs.
If your household works with Goodman Bureau
When a household works with Goodman Bureau through their employer, two relationships apply. For the status we report to the employer, the employer decides what is collected and why, and we act on their behalf under a data processing agreement. For the coaching relationship itself and the records we keep of it, we decide these things.
During an engagement, we collect the information a household shares in the course of the work, and short structured self-assessment responses used for the measures reported to the employer. The employee and, separately, an accompanying partner each give specific written consent before any work begins, covering what is shared with the employer and in what form.
The employer receives a monthly status, an aggregate report at 90 and 180 days, and, if it arises, a one-business-day notification that an assignment is at risk. None of these include the content of coaching conversations, and a household that takes part lightly or not at all is never reported as a concern. We do not record clinical or health detail; where a household needs professional support, we record only that a referral was made.
Engagement records and reports are kept for no longer than 24 months after the engagement ends, then deleted. Working notes from coaching sessions are deleted within 90 days of the engagement ending. Any person or service we use to help run an engagement is bound by equivalent terms; a current list is available on request.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to request that it be corrected or deleted, and to object to how it's used. To exercise any of these rights, contact duncan@goodmanbureau.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) if you believe your data has been mishandled.
